I haven't received my welcome email yet? Why not?
After successfully opening your HSBC Student Bank Account you should receive a welcome email within one week.
If your account has been successfully opened and you've still not received your welcome email after the first week it may be that your junk email filter has prevented it or even deleted it. However, you may still be able to access the Student Exclusives website and register. At registration you will be asked to enter your email address and date of birth. This is used to confirm you are an HSBC Student Bank Account customer.
If registration doesn't work it may be that we don't hold an email address for you or it is not your correct e-mail address.
Please ensure you use the date of birth and email address which HSBC hold on file for you. You can check this by visiting Online Banking, calling us on 03457 404 404, or visiting your local branch.

Have you received your welcome email? If not then please wait for this to arrive (it will arrive approximately one week after completing your account opening or conversion to full Student Bank Account) then click 'Register for Student Exclusives' within the email.
If you have already received your welcome email and/or it is over a week since your Student Bank Account was opened, please double check the email address you have entered is the one you gave to HSBC. You can check this by logging onto Online Banking, calling us on 03457 404 404, or visiting your local branch. If it is the same, incorrectly entered or you no longer have access to the email address then please update this via Online Banking, calling us on 03457 404 404, or visiting your local branch.
Please check that the email and date of birth we hold for you is correct and also that you still hold an HSBC Student Bank Account.
